I said we love cats...well I think I said I LOVE CATS...but we all do.
We have 5 furr-purr babies. A regular kitty pride family.
All of our cats are rescues and either rescued from the streets or adopted from owners who had to re-home them.
All of our kitties have their own special quirks and personalities.
So here is a picture of all of the purr babies:
Our oldest kitty is Squeaky..he was an alley cat who got into a tough spot and by a happy circumstance found his way to our home.
His name is Squeaky because...he doesn't meow...he squeaks..yep, like a squeaky toy.
It's pretty cute and endearing.
Next is the Queen of the Castle...Miss. Kitty. She was rescued from the street two winters ago, right before Christmas.
The girls found her and Edward brought her inside, she was bleeding and not doing so well.
Before long she just became part of our family and is now the Queen..Large and In Charge.
Now we come to Jewel...she is the tween aged kitty in our family. She is funny, goofy and playful and a mischief maker. She was rescued from a pathetic situation and brought to our home, she has no problem in making us laugh.
Lastly but not least...are the newest additions to our cat family...Midnight and Sookie.
Midnight is so beautiful and I have to admit that she is my baby and sleeps on our bed at night.
She is quite the gorgeous black long haired cat and I think she knows how beautiful she is with her long plumb of a tail and her bright yellow/green eyes that glow in the dark.
She acts like an empress and has to be fed separately of the other cats.
Then there is Sookie...she is the quirkiest cat we have.
Sookie was born in Finland and when her owner came back to the USA, well she brought Sookie with her.
Sookie is extremely cute and funny...she sleeps on the floor, on her back with her small tail curled up between her legs and her paws curled up. It's the cutest thing ever! She has a pink nose and pink belly.
She is Edward's baby and sookie acts like he is her mama cat and she hugs him by putting her paws and front legs around his neck and giving him kisses...LOL!
So that's our kitty cat family.
I've promised Edward that I won't be rescuing anymore animals, cats or otherwise, for a long time.
We do have one more little family member and that is Natalie's Dwarf Hamster, Peek-a-chu. She is really cute and if I had a good picture of her I would share it, but she is so shy....we can't seem to get a good picture of her. I will have to try again.
Needless to say she is really cute, white and loves to run on her hamster wheel and eat sunflower seeds.
So that's it from me for now.
Have an awesome day!
